Hi Philipp,

Thanks for sharing your article with us !

I'm quite surprised you are advising people to play Grixis Control to beat Miracles. Maybe were you meaning Grixis Delver ?

I felt like Counterbalance was a "one piece combo" to beat Grixis Control, besides I thought these Grixis don't put enough pressure on Miracles players to prevent them from settling a CB/Top lock (contrary to Delver versions).

You are of course way more experienced with Miracles than me. :) What are you thought about this particular MU ?

"Greetings" ;)

Simon

I think you forget Choke :P

Nice Article with a lot of arguments and a deep vision of the metagame.  Thanks !

Thank you very much, Sir!

Choke? What's Choke? *coughcough* :D

Thank you very much, Sir! :)

No, I mean indeed Grixis Control. You can find a list what I mean by that in an article I wrote a few weeks back:
http://www.eternalce...and-prix-lille/

This deck has all the tools it needs to deal with Miracles, it has good counters, reasonable discard, Snapcaster Mage and Jace while also having Dig Through Time and Standstill. In the big scheme of things, it's missing a win-condition, though. :)

See you in Lille!

Greetings

Excellent paper, very nice job.

I have a little doubt about omnitell, considering that most players will be prepared ta face him, but you're right : it still resilient and efficient. :)
What about shardless in your opinion (metagamed against combo for sure) ?

Thank you very much for your feedback, Sir! :)

The problem is: It took us about 6 weeks to figure out how to effectively beat OmniTell. I don't think most people have gone so far in the end. :)

Shardless BUG is a valid choice but I wouldn't consider it a top choice due to the fact that Dig Through Time is such a very good card that it somewhat devalues the power of Ancestral Vision. I mean, if Delver can draw the best 2 out of 7, then for gods sake, let the Control deck draw 3 lands. In my opinion it's just not perfectly suited for the modern metagame, which doesn't mean that it can absolutely crush face in the right hands!  :)

What about the popular version of UGR threshold with dig through time x3 MD.( Mongoose was replaced with pyromancer and true-name nemesis?)
Greetings and thanks for the high quality article!

Hey, thank you very much!

I'm afraid this isn't a "popular" version in the big scheme of things. I mean Yoan was testing it but I have to admit that I just think that 4-C Delver is the better deck. :)
