To save my sanity on the return leg, I decided to simplify things and booked a private car via GetTransfer. It was a total contrast—having an air-conditioned SUV waiting right at the hotel gate meant I could enjoy one last leisurely breakfast by the waves instead of rushing to a bus stop. The driver even took a detour through some beautiful back lanes in Saligao so I could snap a few photos of the Portuguese-style villas before heading to the terminal. If you’re traveling with a partner or just don’t want to deal with three different bus transfers, a pre-arranged ride is easily the most logical choice. Has anyone else braved the Kadamba shuttle recently, or is the comfort of a private car worth the extra few rupees?
