If you are landing in Goa for the first time, the sheer humidity that hits you outside the terminal is usually enough to make you rethink any plan involving public transport. On my last visit, I actually tried to be the "adventurous" traveler and scouted out the local bus options. While it’s technically possible to find a dabolim airport to baga beach bus, you often have to change at Panjim or Vasco, which means hauling your luggage across dusty stands and waiting in the sun. It’s a great way to see the "real" Goa, but after forty minutes of standing with a heavy backpack, the charm starts to wear off pretty quickly.
